Hiya! For the past two decades, I've been living and breathing interior design with an award winning design firm, working with some of Vancouver's biggest real estate developers, builders, and architects on some seriously amazing projects - talk about a dream job! But, let's face it, the traditional interior design game can be pricey, and I'm all about spreading the design love to more folks. That's why I created Hiya Design - I'm breaking down the barriers of traditional interior design to make it affordable and available to all!
WHY HIYA?
My buddies and kinfolk always gushed, "OMG, your show homes look amazing! I wanna transform my place into a swoon-worthy space too, but it seems like an expensive and daunting feat." TBH, they weren't far off - I had to charge exorbitant fees due to all those pesky designer markups, pricey furnishings, never-ending meetings, travel expenses, and whatnot. But fear not, dear friends! I finally discovered a way to make fab interior design accessible to all - not just to my peeps, but to everyone who wants to skip the costly overhead charges of traditional interior designers.
HOW DO WE MANAGE TO PULL OFF SUCH A FANTASTIC DESIGN SERVICE WITHOUT CHARGING AN ARM AND A LEG?
No monkey business, no sneaky charges! Our designers have years of professional interior design experience and because we're online, we get to skip all the overhead fees that traditional designers charge. Speaking of charges, a traditional designer would put a $100 - $120 per hour price tag on their services and require a day or two to curate furnishings and accessories for a single room. That's an average of $1600 in design fees for a single space. Yikes! But fear not, our fee is only $399 per room - talk about a steal!
